Solow123's 1930 Ford Roadster

We love the HAMB and as you can see below, HAMB-ers like to send in their stuff too. Here's an entry that seriously kicks ass and, is it a daily driver (considering the milage)?

Great site and I really like the intro sounds! Here is my 30 roadster on 32 rails last year at the nostalgia drags which is held at Pacific Raceways near Seattle. I had a best time of 12.04 that day, I should beat that this year as I did more head work. I might also mention that I put 8 thousand miles on the car last year.

Bjorn Rosen's 1935 Ford pickup truck

Bjorn sent us this pic from up in Sweden! A very nice 1935 Ford pick ‘em up truck with a .30 over 239 flatty motor, C4 auto tranny, quickchange rearend and a 4” dropped axle… Beautiful!!

Bjorn wishes us a nice summer and regards from Sweden…

Some pics sent in by Lars Davidson, Kungsbacka, Sweden...

Lars Davidson sent us some pics from when he was over in Arizona for 6 months, where he hung out with the Rattlers car club from Phoenix, AZ. A lot…
Some of the pics are taken at El Mirage, October 2003.
Lars met our own DeadEndCruisers.com Maurice, at the entrance of the dry lake… What a coincidence!
The other pics Lars sent us are from their new years party 2003/2004 in Kungsbacka, Sweden… See the difference in weather… Damn! We live in the wrong part of the world!

Alex Mac Gillavry's 1928 roadster and 1960 truck

Our friend Alex Mac Gillavry (a.k.a. Metalshapes on the HAMB) sent us some pics of his '28 roadster (recently shown in CK Deluxe) and his '60 Ford pick up truck. Look close and you'll spot the Mallock in one of the pics!

Hey Maurice,
Some info on the cars...
'28... Built from scratch ( the body alone is built with parts from 5 separate cars, not counting the donors for the hard top.).
American stamping 'rails, with Model A front parts welded on (I like the shape of Model A Frame horns better).
The car is a unibody, the Frame rails are part of it, forming a box section welded to the floor and the body panels. There are no X members, except in the front and the rear, to hold the springs.
Engine is a 283 SBC out of a '57 'Vette, '30 over, Double hump heads, McCulloch VS57 Supercharger, Aluminum Flywheel, T5 tranny (5 speed), '57 Ford rear axle (9"), limited slip diff., 4.11 Gears, 16" wheels and tires, drum brakes.

'60 Truck... Lowered 14", Camaro front clip, 8 1/2" kick up in the rear, 351W engine (will probably get a blower too), C4 Tranny, 15" Halibrand wheels.
This is my work truck, I use it for hauling and towing, it will get helper bags in the back, and some pretty wild body mods.

Scott "Scooter" Mayers' 1959 Chevrolet El Camino

This is very, very nice indeed! From the Eastcoast of the US, Baltimore MD, Scooter sent us some pics his 1959 Chevy El Camino.... We really like these... And especially when they're powered by 427 motors!!!

I purchased this 1959 El Camino from Fremont, CA in the Summer of 2002. The previous owner only finished the chassis and drive train and I took it from there.
It has a fresh 69' 427/350 turbo w/stall, shorty headers through 3" exhaust/Spin Tech mufflers and 3:55 cruisn' gears.Took it to the shop about a year later. Had all the SS trim polished, ordered all rubber and weatherstripping and everything to get the vent/door glass in. I went for the old school Rat Rod look. Painted it Satin Black and bought the wheels pictured on the 35 chevy. Mods include shaved doors, emblems, antenna, and tailgate. Replaced the tail lights with 59' Impala lights to give it that total smooth look.. Thanks for checkin' out my ride! I'm out.
